It’s embarrassing how excited I was about one of my famous follows there and how much harder that made it to leave. I also disabled my facebook and instagram accounts because of how gross they are which is sad for the few old friends or more distant relations that I only had contact with via FB, but I just can’t tolerate any of my attention giving that company more money either.

Good decision. The paragons of free speech over at twitter keep suspending me for unspecified "suspicious activity." I should probably take it as a sign.

How about a piece on greenwashing, and have any oldgrowth/ancient forests on Vancouver Island been saved by industrial carbon tax credits? (We know a huge chunk tax goes back to fossil fuel industry to cleanup emissions).
Heard Hodgson (Goldman Sachs) was assuring Albertans the Tanker ban will be lifted and they’ll get the Prince Rupert pipeline.
“Green” bitumen pipeline using expensive unsustainable heavy energy dependent CC&S tax welfare project scam.
“Clean” “low carbon” LNG. Pollution lie by omission ignoring effects of methane clouds on kids in Squamish, Kitimat destined to get cancer. LNG for our atmosphere has 33% worse climate emissions than if the importing country just stayed on coal for 20 years. Alberta/Sask/BC have a well problem. Enough leaking wells in BC to out 2 million cars in the road annually.
I know a chunk of women who voted for climate action 10 years ago with Trudeau and Horgan. We got fossil fuel captured pension funds and govts.
How many carbon credits went to save Vancouver Island ancient forests and endangered and threatened species?
None I bet, they privatized Vancouver Island forests & exempted them from Species at Risk Act . They lost social license to clearcut remaining 1%. Horgan’s BCNDP met that challenge with helping Logging companies like Teal Jones & Western Forest to partner with a couple band members and not get consent from the other 300 members. They added gag orders through Community Benefit Agreements and Non Disclosure Agreements. #FairyCreek (1000+ arrested) A member asked for injunction against Western Forest & Band from clearcutting ancient forest in Walbran Valley last week. #WarInTheWoods. He is challenging 3 members decision without consent in Supreme Court.
Art of the Federal Liberals & BCNDP deal, take the loan for partnership to profit or lose out as we are going to log it or pipe it with or without your consent.
That is the nature of BCNDP and Federal Liberals reconciliation.
We haven’t forgotten Eby team getting a female environment defender kicked out of leadership race. Strong females seem to get booted from our Parliaments. Jody Wilson Raybaud tried to protect Canada from criminal multi-Nationals, but Trudeau forced through legislation for Non-prosecution Agreements to let criminal corporations off the hook for criminal acts with a slap in the wrist.
Jane Philpott had the National Pharmacare plan worked out in Liberals first year. Then Trudeau met with Big Pharma and delayed universal coverage until he was out of office.
Even Federal Liberals are fracturing over their greenwashing and backslide on Paris Accord. An enviro group of 40 have broken off.
Just saying, women feel deep buyers remorse with Carney on Climate Crisis Action. He had a green transition reputation now he mimics Danielle Smith’s & MAGAs greenwashing while exponentially increasing upstream and downstream toxin emissions.
